       The
        Kaunas Jesuit School received a useable building, but furniture showed decades
        of Soviet "use what you can". There was a tremendous amount of work to do before the School
        could once again open its doors. The roof needed to be tiled, the dormers - replaced;
        a lot of painting and paving was required. Office equipment consisted of one telephone
        and one manual typewriter!
